UNREGISTERED POULTRY RUNS

Several keepers .of poultry runs .were charged in the Magistrate's Court today before Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., with failing to have their runs registered. The prosecutor for the Department emphasised the necessity under the Act of all such runs being registered. Much publicity had been given to this, but the defendants had not seen fit to register. The fee was 2s 6d.. James Hodge, Clara Alcock, Edward Bartosh, and Mary Blewman were each fined 15s and costs, and Florence Mary Leadley was convicted and ordered to pay costs.
