OBITUARY

MR. G. ROWSON, M.P.

RUGBY, November 16.

The death has occurred of Mr. Guy Rowson, Labour member of Parliament for the .Farnworth division of Lancashire.

Mr. Guy Rowson was born at Manchester in 1883, and was a member of the Lancashire County Council in 1919----25, and member of the Tyldesley Union District Council in 1919-22. He was miners' agent for the Lancashire and Chesire Miners' Federation, and was elected to the House of pommons in 1929, was defeated in 1931, but regained the seat in 1935.
