" The stars game played on the Eastbourne Bowling Club's green at the weekend was won by a local post office combination, consisting of L. A. Johns, L. A. Stagg, W. P. Archer, and B. P. Lenihan, who beat D. Jenkins, Knowles (sub.), A. B. Charters, S. Johns, the holders of the trophies since last season,'by 18 to 17. It was a popular'win, three of the postal rink being young players and Mr. Lenihan, the postmaster, was making his first appearance as a skip.
