In reply to Mr. A. G. Hultquist (Government, Bay of Plenty),, the Minister of Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) said that the question of a universal Saturday Half-holiday would receive consideration when the proposed review of the Shops and Offices Act was undertaken.
Replying to Mr., H. Atmore (Independent, Nelson), the Prime Minister stated that there were items on the Estimates to provide for a cost of living bonus. to retired civil servants in receipt of low superannuation payments. ....
""No material changes in the marketing system are at present contem-, plated," stated the Minister of Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash) in reply to Mr. J£. J. Holyoake (National, Motueka).
