SECRET ORGANISATION
(Received November 17, 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, November 16. After the discovery of. further concrete arsenals containing rifles, revolvers, machine-guns, and grenades, the Paris police arrested four members of the secret organisation known as the Cagoulards (Hooded Men), including one of aristocratic birth.
The police are starting a campaign throughout France to clean up the Cagoulards' secret arsenals.
In September police searched the Paris headquarters of the Cagoulards and found a large number of machineguns, hand grenades, and other weapons. The Ministry of the Interior stated that the Cagoulards were attached to parties of the Right and had been under surveillance by secant police for some time.. Four arrests were made and more were expected.
