The resignation of Miss Ir Craig (secretary) was received with regret, as she has held that office since the inception of the branch eleven and a half years ago and during that time has given faithful and' invaluable service. She is leaving Wellington to reside ia the country for an indefinite period, and her absence will be keenly felt by every member. A beautiful spray of roses was given her, and on behalf of the members Mrs. Janson presented her with a blue xylonite comb, brush, and mirror, and on behalf of the committee Mrs. H. Cook presented ' her with a blue powder-bowl to; match. Miss Craig suitably replied. ■ ■
