(By Telegraph—Preß» Association.)

DUNEDIN, November 8.

A particularly fine performance was put up by A. R. Geddes, Otago representative athlete, at a meeting conducted by the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association.

In the three-mile event Geddes covered the distance in 14min 53 2-ssec, which is ljsec below the record for the Caledonian track, where the meeting was held. This was the first time this season he has appeared in a three-mile event, and he is concentrating on the six-mile event for the Empire Games trial.

W. A. C. Pullar, national mile champion, did not appear, but is in strict training.
