The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon M. J. Savage) stated today that the House would have to work on Mondays in order to get through in reasonable time. It was not definite, but he thought it was' more than likely that he would require it to do this from Monday week. Mr. Savage hopes to adjourn the House for the summer recess on December 10, and anticipates that it will be summoned early in February in order to deal with national superannuation and health legislation, and also amendments to the land and income tax regulations.
