GOOD PERFORMANCES

A large number of parents, -friends, and old boys of Wellington College attended the annual sports meeting which "was held on the college grounds yesterday. Good performances were recorded by most competitors, and keen competition was displayed. Before Mrs. W. A. 'Armour, presented the prizes' the principal, Mr. Armour, 'said he was not sure whether it was the 53rd or 54th sports meeting. \ He expressed, his pleasure at seeing sucn a large gathering, and was. glad that large, fields had contested" the various I events. . The senior championship was won by J. W. Green with 11 points, and H. E. M. Greig and-H. A. Brooks tied for second place for. 7 points • each.
