The art of making firework* was known lone ago. Firework* were made by the people' of India, Greece, China, and Japan,- hundreds p" years before Mr. Guy Fawhes was born. More than 2000 years ago the Chinese people used to pack fireworks into pieces of the hollow stem of the bamboo plant—and they make them in the same way now ' '
