CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION

1939-40

The organisation wprk in connection with the Centennial Exhibition Women's Section has progressed very considerably during recent weeks. Representative women have been invited to form committees to arrange exhibitions and demonstrations of Fine Arts, Arts and Crafts, Domestic Science, ana Child Welfare, also professional lectures and demonstrations on a wide range of subjects, showing the diversity of women's occupations and the growing value of their work to the community

The Women's Institutes and the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union "(representing a very large body of women) will have a space set apart for the purpose of demonstrating their various activities

Her Excellency Lady Galway has consented to honour the section with her patronage. (

A prospectus has been compiled setting forth the aims and objects ol the''•' Women's Section. It also gives the" classification of the various activities of the section, together with the rules and regulations governing same and includes the necessary application form for the use of intending exhibitors. It is hoped that this prospectus will be in print at an early date.
