ANZAG MOUNTEDS
INCREASED MEMBERSHIP
The executive of the'Anzac Mounted Division Association met recently. Captain G. F. Yerex presided. The secretary reported steady progress and increased membership. Contact had been made with members; of Light Horse associations in Australia, who are looking forward to meeting their former comrades of Gallipoli and Palestine when the New Zealand Contingent is in Sydney next Anzac Day. Feeling reference was made to the death of Major-General Sir Granville Ryrie, who commanded the Second Light Horse Brigade during the Great War. The Wellington Mounted Rifles formed part of this unit for a time during the early Sinai operations. The secretary has received letters from General Sir Harry; Chauvel and Major-General Sir Edward Chaytor, who both commended the association for keeping alive the spirit of. mounted fighting men, The annual reunion will be held at St. Francis "Hall/ Hill Street, next Thursday.
