NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Having heard members of the crew say they were going to Newcastle, a Scotsman, aged about 26, boarded the tramp steamer Tymeric at Hong Kong. He believed he was' on his ■ way to Britain, instead of which he was going to New Plymouth and subsequently to Newcastle, New South Wales.
