An improvement in the business of the Wellington-; Publishing Company, Limited,; proprietors of the "Dominion," is reported" by the directors. . The?report, also states that increased costs,*due to various legislative enactments,' absorbed -.the-greater part of the additional revenue, but the - working profit was in advance of the previous year. The working profit was £18,000, against £17,585. The net result, added to the amount brought in (£7204), made a total of £14,081 available. The directors recommend a dividend at the unchanged rate of 4| per cent. * per annum. ' This will absorb - £6750, leaving c;£ 7331 to be carried forward.
