TRAFFIC OFFENCES

A conviction was entered against Herbert Harry Sterling in the Magistrate's Court yesterday for driving without due care and attention in Lambton Quay on September 25. The Magistrate, Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., said that the defendant's collision with a tram was due to an error of judgment. Defendant was ordered to pay costs.

For failing to giye way to traffic from the right Lala Naren, a Hindu, was convicted and ordered to pay costs. l
