ROAD SAFETY POSTERS

The road safety campaign is being developed along the most progressive lines and the latest idea of attracting attention to it is a poster competition inaugurated by the Transport Department. The competition, for which entries close with the Department at noon on November 12, is open to any person or firm in New Zealand without restriction and no entry fee is required. While a road safety poster -of general appeal, is desired, no restriction of any kind is placed either upon the subject matter or upon the method of treatment. The winning poster, for which a prize of twenty guineas is offered, will be displayed throughout New Zealand and it is proposed to have an exhibition of all entries in the main centres. ' . j
