BRITISH RIFLE TEAM
TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND
The National Rifle Association of England has arranged for a team to visit South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. , The team will shoot several matches in South Africa and Australia, but only one match has been arranged at Trentham, owing to the short stay in New Zealand. They departed from Liverpool by the Ulysses on October 16, depart Cape, Town by the Ascanius on December 3, depart Sydney by the A'watea on February 18, and depart from New Zealand on February 25 by the Akaroa. The members of the team and the units to which they'are attached are as follows:—R. Fulton (R.E.), E. A. F. Widdrington (Rl. Innis. Dragoon Gds.), P R. T. Garnett (Late Inns of Court), R D Greig date Winchester College OTC), C. W. Seward (late Oxford University 0.T.C.), V E. Hoddle (late London University 0.T.C.), C. L. Hall (late Oxford University 0.T.C.), D.. L Birney (late Cambridge University OT.C.), Captain R. E. W. Johnson (London Rifle Brigade), J. L. Milne (late R.A.), Commander D. S. Swanston (late Royal Navy), Major A. J. Andrews (Tower Hamlets), C. K. Laban. (Royal Navy), N. W. McCaw (late Westminster. School 0.T.C.).
