A CINDERELLA SCHOOL
A abelter porch'tor the woodwork room of the Lower Hutt Technical School is a thing for which the Wellington Education Board has -■ been striving for some time. At today's meeting of the board intimation was received from the Education Department that the proposal would be considered later when more urgent matters had been dealt with. "I am tired of this attitude," remarked the chairman. Mr. W. V. Dyer. "This school ia always treated as a Cinderella, and it is quite time something was done. It is exposed to the southerly gales and badly needs a shelter porch." It was agreed to refer the matter back to the .Department again, and Mr. DJrer added that he. would take it up PMsonally-^^^^■
