SPECTACULAR BLAZE
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) MASTERTON, October 18. Mystery surrounds the origin of a spectacular blaze which completely destroyed a big wool-shed and dip-shed at the homestead of Mr. R. F. R. Beetham, Brancepeth, late this afternoon. The woolshed, which was built about 32 years ago of heart timber, was considered to be one of the finest in the country. There was no one working in the shed at the time of the outbreak, about 5 p.m., and with no fireflghting appliances available Mr, Beetham and his employees were helpless. Half of the loss was covered by insurance. Shearing on the Brancepeth station, one of the largest in the district, will commence next month, and Mr. Beetham has already received offers of assistance.
