PETONE HUTT GAS BOARD

The chairman (Mr. W. G. Lodder) presided at the meeting of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board last evening.

The gas engineer (Mr. D. Macpherson) reported that the gas manufactured in September (30 days) was 10,639,000 cubic feet, whicth was 720,000 cubic feet more than in September last -year and 373,000 cubic feet less than in' August (31 days). The average make per ton was 15,531 cubic feet.

The secretary (Mr. O. Silbery) P" ported that 83 new services were Installed. Mr. Silbery also reported that space hadf>een booked for th« Industrial exhibition at Lower Hutt,
