On 'Saturday " afternoon an 18-hole i stroke competition -, played by tho Manor Park Club-resulted in a win for R .Telford (12); 69 net, in the seniors,] followed by A. Clouston (5) and H. Payne (12), both 70 net. J. Burns (16)! wdn the intermediate section, with a .net 67, and L. B. Denby was the winner in the juniors; with a net 70. The latter won on a count-back from,F. W. Perry. Yesterday morning's competition was an 18-hole bogey, E. J. Mori arty winning in the seniors, with a card of 2 down. J. Stanley handed in the best card in any bogey competition this season; being 4 up on bogey off a handicap of 11. He had a stroke round of 77. W-. Hodges (17) was the winner in the juniors, with a card of 1 up. Some good cards were handed in in the Stableford bogey in the afternoon, the results being:—Senior, K. Butler, 38 points, with- a stroke round ■ of 72; intermediate, B. L. Wodehouse, 36 points; and junior, E. G. Glennie, 35 points, i The second round of'the championships was completed this weekend, with the exception of one match, J. Burns v. H.
