SOCIAL AND DANCE
CONCLUSION OF SEASON
A social and dance arranged by the Y.M.C.A. social committee to mark the conclusion- of the season was held on Saturday • night- in the association's gymnasium. The gathering was well attended and highly successful.
Community singing under the leadership of 'Messrs. Will J. Mason and Harry "Wilson proved very popular. Yodelling songs were given by Mr. G. D. Hall. Novelty dance prizes were won by Miss M. Roy and Mr. H. S. Tonks, Miss E. Ewing and Mr. H. S. Tonks, Miss E. Masters and Mr. R. Anderson, Miss J. Cambridge and Miss J. Bowcock and Mr. D. Young. During supper, which was served in the lounge, the toast of "The Y.M.C.A." was proposed by Mr. J. G. Oliver and responded to by Mr. W. J. Mason, and "The Committee and .Orchestra" was proposed by Mr. J. K. Thwaites, and responded to by Messrs. E. Moncur and H. E. Wilson. The .committee for the evening were Messrs. F. Bishop, E.
