(British Official Wireless.) . RUGBY, October 7. A contribution of ,£IO,OOO for church extensions in the Diocese of Coventry by Lord Nuffield was announced today. • This follows close on two other benefactions made public in the last three days. The first, of £100,000, was placed in the hands of the trustees, including the Earl of Athlone and the High Commissioner for South Africa in London, for the development _of r thopaedic surgery in South Africa, and' the second of £6000 was given to the Royal Bucks Hospital, Aylesbury, for X-ray plant and also for furthering orthopaedic work.
