HUNtER CASE COSTS
A reserved judgment given by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon fixed the costs in the case which resulted in the removal of Cyril Paul Hunter and Thomas Percy Hunter from the trusteeship of the estate of the late Sir George Hunter. The costs of the plaintiff, Lady Hunter, as between solicitor and client, are to be taxed by the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Wellington. The plaintiff will be entitled to thirteen-twenty-fourths of these costs out of the estate. The party and party costs will be ascerained as on a claim for £1000, together with witnesses' expenses and disbursements to, be fixed by the Registrar. His Honour certified for £15 15s per day for twenty-five extra days, and for second counsel at £7 7s per day. The defendants are to pay to the plaintiff thirteen-twenty-fourths of the total of such party and party costs and the plaintiff will bring such amount into account for the benefit of the estate against the solicitor and client; costs which she receives from the estate.
