BASEBALL CLUBS

A well-attended meeting, was held last evening, Mr. Bristow, of-the Central Rugby League Club, presiding, to consider the formation of baseball clubs in Wellington. All. the to\^n Rugby League clubs,, were represented. by officials and players. -The board, of control was represented by. the" secretary, Mr. E. J. Elliott. ,

All present were interested; and undertook to support the .^project, '■ Mr. Wilson, production- manager of the Ford Motor Co., Lower. Hutt, with Mr. J. Jones, secretary, and.Mr; Palmer, chairman of the sports and social club of the Ford Motor Co., accompanied by many supporters, outlined the game and promised to play an exhibition match at an early date in Wellington.
