BRITISH AUTHORITY

MEETING WITH COMMITTEES

Sir Henry Brackenbury, vice-presi-dent of the British Medical Association, accompanied by Dr. T. D. M. Stout, president of "the New Zealand branch of the 8.M.A., paid a visit to the Minister of Health (the Hon. P. Fraser) today, and later met members of the National Superannuation and Health Insurance Committees.

Sir Henry, who is recognised,as an authority on national health insurance, is a former chairman of the Council of the British Medical Association. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee to the British Ministry of Health, a member of the General Medical Council, chairman of the Institute of Medical Psychology, and vice-presi-dent of the Central Association for Mental Welfare. He is visiting New Zealand at the invitation of the New Zealand branch of the B.M.A.
