RUGBY LEAGUE

AUSTRALIAN TEAM'S TOUR

The Australian Rugby League team's second match on the- English portion of their tour is to be played tomorrow- against York. On Saturday the Kangaroos play Newcastle. It is more than likely, that the Kangaroos will win both these matches.

Of interest is the fact that Jeff Moores and W. Hunt, two Australian Rugby League backs who went to England under contract a few seasons.ago, are both playing for York. Moores is well remembered in New Zealand for his brilliant play at centre in the famous 1925 Queensland combination which toured this country. He was only in the colt stage then. In 1927 he went to England, where he has continued to play with distinction in the intervening ten years.
