DANCE AT KELBURN

TALAVERA TENNIS CLUB

The Kelburn Kiosk is a popular dancing place, and on Saturday night it was the rendezvous for members of the Talavera Municipal Tennis Club (junior) and their friends, who assembled to celebrate the opening of the season. Quaint lanterns gave a Chinese effect to the verandah, and there were many cheery parties of tennis enthusiasts grouped round the small tables there. The orchestra was kept busy responding to encores throughout the evening. An excellent home-made supper was served.

The committee comprised Mr. and Mrs. Banks, Mr. and Mrs. Wells, Misses M. Coehrane, B. Downing, D. Price, M. Redmond, and Messrs. N. Instone, R. Brookman, i and V. Stace (secretary).
