LATE MR. ROBERTSON

The funeral ,of the late Mr. George Robertson, Consul for Brazil, which took place on Saturday, was largely attended. The service at the crematorium was conducted by the Key. J. H. MacKenzie, Kclburn. The chief mourners were Messrs. Roland and Cecil Robertson sons, and Mr. and Mrs. J, Nelson, Eastbourne, son-in-law and daughter.

Among those present were Sir Harold Beauchamp, Mr. A. G. Barnett (general manager of the Wellington Harbour Board), Mr. H. E. Nicholls (former secretary of the Harbour Board), Messrs. G. S. Nicoll, F. Nicoll, A. Marryatt, T. L. Barker, W. H. C. Oswin, A. Schloss, H. G. Disbury, J. M. Allison, W. E. Arnold (Commissioner of the Government Life Insurance Department), J. W. Heenan (Under-Sccretary of Internal Affairs), George Fache (formerly Commissioner of Pensions), W. A. Fordham. G. W. Barltrop, D. Jackson, F. B. Bolt, C. D. Morpelh, H. Plimmcr, and H. Wyatt. There were also present many members of the Garibaldi Club.
