PEPPER'S RETIREMENT
Another member of the 1935 New Zealand Rugby team which toured Great Britain, C. S. Pepper, a frontrow forward, is reported to have announced his retirement from representative football. In club football Pepper has given good service to the Manukau Club and he also has represented Auckland many times. It is stated to be his present intention to retire from club football as well. He is now residing at North Shore and his close friends consider that he may turn out for the North Shore fifteen next Season if required.
