ANTI-SOVIET PLOT
ALLEGATIONS BY SECRET POLICE
MOSCOW, September 16. It is announced that a group of Finns occupying leading posts in the Russian republic of Karelia, bordering Finland, have been annihilated. The secret police allege that the Finns crossed the frontier disguised as Communist refugees, under instructions from the German intelligence service, and organised an infantry brigade which, in the event of war, woJld seize Karelia and cut off the strategic Kolsky Peninsula and the Murmansk railway.
