ST. JAMES'S CLUB
The annual meeting of the St. James's Tennis Club was held recently, the Rev. H. E. K. Fry presiding over an excellent attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet were approved. The following officers were elected: —President, the Rev. H. E. K. Fry; vice-presidents, the Hon. W. Nash, Messrs. S. M. Hobbs, R. G. House, and Mrs. R. O. Chesney; life member, Mr. R. G. House; secretary, Mr. R. A. Knight;, treasurer, Mr. E. B. Pyne; club captain, Mr. F. W. Murphy; auditor, Mr. L. R. Nash; management committee, Messrs. R. Wills, P. White, S. Palmer, Misses P. McMillan, B. Innes, and M. Martin; delegates to Hutt Valley Lawn Tennis Sub-Association, Messrs. R. A. Knight, R. Wills, P. White.. .
D.I.C.- CLUB
The following officers were elected at the fourth annual meeting of the D.I.C. Tennis Club:—President, Mr. W. Simm; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. D. Thomson, A. E. Burge, H. Crowther, and Miss E. Thompson; hon. secretary and treasurer, Miss Orbell; club captain, Mr. M. A. Elder; vice-captain, Mr. A. de Clifton; committee Misses Norris, Mrs. Read. Messrs. Wheatley and Bryce; hon. auditor, Miss D. M Thetclub's opening day is to be held On Saturday, at 2.30 p.m.
