Dr. Sylvia Chapman, medical superintendent of St. Helens Hospital, arrived in Auckland on Saturday to attend the sittings of the Maternity Services Committee. She is at the Station Hotel.
Lady Barnett, Hampden, is visiting Christchurch.
Mrs. C. H. Nelson, Woodville, is visiting Wellington and is'staying at the Royal Oak Hotel.
Mrs. L. Hunt, Fitzherbert Terrace, has returned from Auckland,
Miss Jean Shipley and Miss Mabel Hunt, Timaru, will arrive in Wellington on Sunday and will spend a few days before leaving for a cruise of the Islands.
Miss*Olga Harding, Hawera, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home.
Mrs. S. C. P." Nicholls has arrived from Christchurch to stay with her daughter, Mrs. Wayne Redpath, Karori.
Miss E. Derrick,' Romford, Essex, England, has been staying with her sister, Mrs. C. B. Davis, Anzac Avenue, Morrinsville. Miss Derrick is a teacher on exchange tfrom England and has completed a term of teaching at Dunedin and Wellington. She will continue in Auckland for the following term. '
Mrs. N. Heyes, Ratapiko, Taranaki, has been visiting Wellington.
Mrs. Dunn, Wellington, is staying in New Plymouth with Mrs. A. E. Rawson. ■
Miss Shona' Mackay, Wellington, is visiting New Plymouth,-where she is the guest of Mrs. E..L. Humphries.
Mr. and Mrs. A. B, Edwards, Christchurch, will leave by the Niagara from Auckland for Suva where they intend to remain some time with their daughter. ■'
Miss Aileen Homer, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. M. L.- Atkinson, New Plymouth. , •
Mrs. Derrick Gould and family, Fendalton, are spending a- holiday at Akaroa.
Mrs. H. Kinder, Remuera, Auckland, is visiting her .daughter, Mrs. Ferrier Watson, Lower Hutt.
Mrs. Dutton, Fitzherbert Terrace, who has paid a brief visit to Paraparaumu,. returned to Wellington yes■terday.

Miss Joyce Keane, Wellington, who has been spending the holidays at her home in Lake Road, Takapuna, returned on Monday by the Limited express.
Mrs. Helen Clarke, Miss Errol Clarke, and Miss Marion Russell arrived by the inter-island steamer this morning to spend a week's holiday in Wellington.
Miss Nancy Cook, Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. S. Law, Palmerston North, has returned home.
