LOST FROM WAHINE

MAN IDENTIFIED

The man who was lost overboard from the inter-island steamer Waliine during her passage from Lyttelton to Wellington last night is believed to have been Maurice Charles Aldridge, aged about 30, a motor-car salesman employed by Todd Motors," Ltd., Wellington. He was expected back at his boarding-house this morning, but he did not appear. A photograph of Aldridge was subsequently identified by a passenger on the Wahine, who said that it was the man who had been lost overboard.
