BADGES WON AGAIN Once again the badge holders, Urquhart, Lonsdale, Duncan, and McCune, withstood a challenge at the indoor bowling green from W. Moult, E. Moult, Urwin, and Roberts. The final score was 26-15. The following are results of friendly games:—Rankine, Veryard, Hughes, Rickfetts, 22; C. Watts, Hay lock, Paton, H. Watts, 18. 'E. Ross, Harper, Deare, A. Fraser, Wilson, Feilding, McWhannell, 15; Nicholls, Mitchell, Recce, Parsons, 14; Powers, Byrne, 20; Kenny, Fownes, 17. ' . ASSOCIATION'S TOURNEY. The final of the New Zealanders' Association tournament was playtd during the week, the finalists being Stewart, Horwood, McWhanrielli and Perry, against Howard, Caley, Ronan, and Webley. The game was 8-all on the ninth head, but thereafter Perry's rink forged ahead and won comfortably by 27-18. HOUSE CUP. The following are results of the sixth round for the House Cup:— Section A.—Russell Bros, beat Ford Motors 16-11; City Council beat Avery Motors 25-20; Self-Help beat Ideal Section B.—"N.Z. Truth" beat Hannah and Co. 25-18; Toop and Neilson beat -Evening Post" 23-19; Smith and Smith beat Meat Export 21-19. - The following is the draw and nights of play for this week:— . Section A (Monday) .—ldeal Dairy plays Ford Motors; City Council plays Kirkcaldie and Stains; Self-Help plays Avery Motors. - Section B (Thursday)— Hannah and Co. plays "Evening Post"; Smith and Smith plays George Lang and Co.; Toop and Neilson plays Meat Export P. AND T. TOURNEY. The Post and Telegraph tournament completed its section play. Cox's rink won section A, and Bruce's rink won section B with six wins each. The final will be played on Wednesday evening, when all those participating in the tournament will be present to watch and also to play three games of six heads. This will complete a successful tournament, in which great interest has been taken throughout. The enjoyment players have derived is shown by the fact ,that on every evening set down for play all eight rinks have been filled. . The Hataitai and Island Bay Clubs will have a friendly match on Tuesday evening, when six rinks will represent each club.
