A huge crowd, officially estimated at 45,000, became excited to fever point in the first half as New Zealand built up a sixto nil margin, which it .seemed would be hard to overtake, but in the second half the Springbok .forwards took charge of the game and, after running the All Black pack at one stage almost to a standstill, had no difficulty in getting on top on points and holding the advantage. Brand converting. .
