PIPE BAND BAZAAR.
The bazaar conducted by the Wellington Caledonian Society's pipe band was concluded at St. Thomas Hall on Saturday evening. 'There was a large attendance. During the evening an exhibition of natiortal dances" was given and- much appreciated.,.' ,'. The bazaar was organised by Mrs. W. Smith, assisted by-, h strong, committee. The stallholders 'were as follows:. — Plain, Mrs. W..Smith, jun.; fancy, Mrs.. Clark and Mrs Price; cakes, Mrs. Ben-, netts; sweets. Misses Home; Shanks, and Palmer; pictures, Mr. J. W, Brown; games. Messrs. C. and D." Stewart; pro-' duce. Mesdames Burnette and Johnstone; surprise packets, ■ Messrs. :W. Smith, sen., : and H. Clark; tea room's. Mesdames Stewart ..and Bryant; .mis-. cellaneous, Mrs. McKirmon. ' . '.. At the conclusion ot the bazaar thanks were' extended to the organiser, the bazaar committee, the Stallholders and-theii assistants; the Legion, of Frontiersmen, and' others.-who Tiad assisted; to the dancers who had provided the entertainment; to the chair-., man of the Association. of Scots Societies, who had presided at the of j ficial opening; and to the public for their generous assistance and co-opera-tion. . \ ~
