FATAL-COLLISION
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 5. A head-on collision between a motor-cycle and a motor-car on the Great South Road at Wiri this morning resulted in the rider, of the cycle receiving injuries from which he died shortly afterwards. He was John Kimber, aged 18, motor-driver, of Auckland. The motor-cycle was being ridden southward and collided with a car driven by Philip Pile, of Hamilton, which was proceeding in the other direction. The cycle and rider were pinned under the front axle of the car.
