i CRUISE OF DOMINION
The Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) announced today that H.M. ships Achilles and Leander will undertake/a cruise of New Zealand ports, in accordance, with the following prbgramme::— H.M.S. Achilles.—Auckland, depart November 3; Lyttelton, arrive November. 5, depart November 15; Akaroa, arrive November 15, depart November 17; Wellington, arrive November 18, depart November 25; Auckland, arrive November 27, depart November 29; Hauraki Gulf, arrive November 29, depart December C; Auckland, arrive Decsmber 8., H.M.S. Leander. —Auckland, depart October 4; Napier, arrive October 5, depart October 9; Dunedin. arrive October' 11, depart October 18; Bluff, arrive October 19, depart October 22; New Plymouth, arrive October 30, depart November 4; Lyttelton, arrive November 5, depart November 12; Akaroa, arrive November 12, depart November 17; Wellington, arrive November 18, depart November 25^ Auckland, arrive November 27, depart November 29;; Hauraki Gulf; arrive November 29, depart December 4;' Auckland, arrive December 4. After leaving.Bluff the Leander will spend some days in the West Coast Sounds.
