MURITAI CLUB
The annual report of the Muritai Lawn j Tennis Club, to be presented, at the annual general 'meeting of the club on Tuesday nsxf, records a successful year and a sound financial position, the balance of assets over liabilities being nearly £900. Winners-of. club events were:—Men's singles, Mr. J. Charters; ladies' singles, Miss A. Kean; men's doubles, Messrs. B. H. Jenkinon and A. Smith; ladies' doubles, Misses M. Burch and P. Smith; men's handicap singles, Mr. B. H. Jenkinson; ladies' handicap singles, Miss M. Burch; men's handicap doubles, Messrs. -M. Hill and A. Smith; ladies' handicap doubles, Mrs. J. Robinson and Miss V. Shortt; combined handicap doubles, Miss V. Shortt and Mr. J, MacPherson; Mather Cup ' (combined championship doubles). Miss A. Keau and Mr; B. H. Jenkinson. The eighth East Harbour tournament resulted as follows:—Men's singles, Mr B. H. Jenkinson; ladies' singles. Miss I. Small; men's doubles, Messrs B. Jenkinson and A. Smith; ladies' doubles, Misses A..Kcan and I. Small; combined doubles, Miss I. Small and S; S. McMihn; men's handicap singles, Mr. Dqherty; ladies' handicap singles, Miss I. Small; men's ..handicap doubles. Messrs; R. N. Sinclair and D. G. Innes; ladies' handicap doubles, Misses Z. Castle arid J.
