Notice of Special Order. ■VTOTICJS IS HEREBY GIVEN that at -^ ' a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council held on Monday the 2ud August 1037, the following resolution was passed: The Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order the following -Bylaw under and by virtue of and in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by the Cemeteries Act 11)08, the Health Act 1920, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and their respective Amendments, and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it au that behalf. The object uud purport of the bylaw are:—(l) '.lo permit the carriage of pig-swill up to U a.m. instead of 8 a.m. (2} To regulate cattle and sheep on the streets and footways ot tha City. (3) To prohibit persons driving vehicles aloiis footways. U) To legulate the ventilation of gas water liesters, and to control the installation of any apparatus, or system, other than fuel heated water systems. (5) To amend lite form of application and agreement in connection with extraordinary water supply. (0) To protect any human food,, ordinarily consuriied in -a state, or condition, in which it is sold, from any unwholesome matter. (7) To h'x charges for admissibii to Hataitai Park. (8) To regulate vehicles in Cemeteries and relating to'persons, children, and animals in cemeteries. (9) To amend the scale of cemetery charges and to consolidate the charges relating to cremation. (10) lo fix new, charges iv connection with borrowing books from the library. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the Wellington City Council to be held on Monday the 6th September 1937, at the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Street, Wellington,,at 7.30 p.m. A ftill copy ot tire said Bylaw is deposited at the office of the Town Clerk to the said Council and may be insjected by all persons during ordinary office hours.
