CHAIN STORE INQUIRY.
"The chain store inquiry in New South Wales," said Mr.. G. J. Coles at the annual meeting of G. J. Coles, Ltd., "commenced in September last under Mr. Justice Browne, of the Industrial Commission of New South Wales. Your company was represented by counsel, and two members of the board, Mr. K. F. Coles, the resident director in New South Wales, and Mr. E. B. Coles, have given evidence from time to time. Every possible assistance has been given by the'company to the Commission during the course of the inquiry, and I am pleased to say that no charges have yet been made against this company. No report has yet been made by Mr. Justice Browne on the findings of the inquiry." .
