The Dominion Auctioneering Com* pany, Palmerston North, reports as follows:—To a large attendance of buyers we submitted a capacity yarding of'four hundred pigs at Thursday's fair and, to accommodate the large entry even the races had to be utilised for additional space. A total Clearance was effected of all lines at satisfactory prices to the venders with the demand still unsatisfied, besKweaiiers realising up to 29s 6d, slips to 325, and light porkers up to 335. Poultry is still in keen demand, and to a large bench of buyers we cleared a good entry of all lines, a nice line of B.C. hens realising 5s 3d each and ducks up to 4s 9d each.
