VICTORIA COLLEGE COUNCIL

The Victoria College Students' Association has approved of a resolution to be submitted to the Government asking for an amendment to the constitution of the council as set forth in the Victoria University College Act, 1933, to provide for student representation on the council. The resolution reads:— .. "That the Government be asked to take the necessary steps to make provision for one students' representative on the college_council, such representative to be appointed by the executive of the Students' Association and, at the time of appointment, to bo either a student actually attending lectures or one who has within the preceding two years attended lectures, and to hold office for two years."
