MANOR PARK CLUB

Saturday's competition was an 18^ hole stroke, the winner being L. J. Ninnes (18), 70, followed by*D. Woon and B. Bri'ckman, 72.

On Sunday morning the winners in | the three sections of the 18-hole bogey competition were:—Senior, F. W. Page (2), 2 down; intermediate, D. Low (12), 1 down; • junior, H. Elsmore (15), all square.' In the 18-hole stableford bogey on Sunday afternoon, .T A. McKay won in the seniors with 35 points, followed by E. W. Brockett with 34 points.

In the intermediates F. Titteririgton (14) returned an excellent card of 40 points, to win the: event very easily. He reached the turn in 37 and came horri'e in' 40, making a total- of 77 for the round. He has ■ been , duly ' dealt with by' the handicapping committee. In,the juniors T. Baker was the winner with 38 points. ••..-.'■ In the fourball two-life competitions the results of the fourth round are as follows:—In the seniors, Page and Sawyers" beat D. Butler and H.. Sherwood; Alston and Frankpitt beat J. Hennessey arid ■ Ogilvie; Radford and E. Butler beat ■ Telford and Wilson; and Allan and Stanley beat Clouston and A. S. T. Butler. In the juniors, Evans and Hollobon beat Gruar and Hodges; Elsmore and Baker beat Perry and Cochrane; Smith and Linley beat Anderson and Blackburn; and Armstrong and Douglas beat Livingston and Murphy. Handicap adjustments: F. Titterington to 12; T. S. Baker to 20.
