AFTER FIFTY YEARS
HANDICAPPER'S RETIREMENT
In tendering his resignation as handicapper to the Feilding Jockey Club, an official duty he had filled for just on fifty years, Mr. J. E. Henrys wrote to the president of the club (Mr. W. G. Fry) as follows:— "It is with sincere regret and reluctance that I beg most respectfully to ask the Feilding Jockey Club to permit me to relinquish the office of handicapper.
