MELBOURNE STEAMSHIP.
Brisk trade experienced, and employment of all the vessels of the company's fleet, have been responsible for a rise of £13,940 to £34,180 in profits of the Melbourne Steamship Co., Ltd., for the year ended June 30. Ordinary dividend for the year has been raised from 6 per cent, to 6£ per cent., and £10,000 is being transferred to special renewals provision.
