MR. A. F. WILTON

The death occurred this morning 'of Mr. Albert Frederick Wilton, a wellknown member of one of the pioneer families of Wellington. , • The late Mr. Wilton was born in England, and arrived in Wellington as an infant with his parents in 1857, and resided there ever since. After being in private business for several years he was selected by the Wellington City Council for the post of custodian, of the Te Aro Baths when they were' opened in the late nineties, and continued in the council's employ • until 1922, when he retired on superannuation. Mr. Wilton 'was predeceased by his wife in 1931, one son, who was killed in France in 1016, and a daughter in 1928, and is survived by three daughters and two sons, Mesdames W. Elliott, Wellington, F. W. Mills, Eeikiorangi, and H. A. Lamb, Dunedin, and Messrs. F. Wilton, Wellington, and P. A. Wilton, South Peatherston.
