HIGHEST IN HISTORY
CHIEFLY DUE TO
ARMAMENTS
WASHINGTON, August 9.
The Bureau of Agricultural Economics announced that world industrial production for the first six months of 1937 is the highest in history. This is attributed chiefly to the armaments activity in the United Kingdom, Germany,, and Japan. .
