IMPERIAL MATTERS
FOR NEXT CABINET
MR. SAVAGE'S TRIBUTE
Questions arising out of his visit to the Imperial Conference will be among those to be considered on Tuesday next when the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) will hold his first Cabinet meeting since his return. Developments in the Dominion during his absence will also be discussed.
In this connection, Mr. Savage today paid a tribute to the work that his colleagues in the Ministry had done while he was away. "They deserve every credit, particularly in view of the absence abroad of , the other Ministers —Mr. Mash, Mr. Armstrong, and later Mr. Semple," said Mr. Savage. "Indeed, there is very little they have not done. After meeting men from all quarters of the globe, I am perfectly satisfied that the men who have carried on the work while I have been away do not suffer by comparison." ■'■. ■ " ■ ' ; ■'~ ■" ,
